As much as we dislike Russel - I am sure he will make the finals.

everybody hates him he will not receive any votes for the money - exactly the kind of person you want to take to the finals

When they filmed this season of Survivor, the had not yet done the finals for the one before, so Russell does not know that he did not win the first game. And the other survivors haven't seen that season either, so they don't know what a creep he is. Hopefully he will continue with the nasty aspect of his social game because he thinks it worked before.
