Suspicious activity?

Hello yall. So i have like 10 pullets and 2 roos in front porch and i usually wake up early and do daily things right. But not sure if some neighbor or person is trying to hurt my flock intentionally. I found like a week ago one of those bird firecrackers to scare them away in my front porch. Then suspiciously i found a pellet or 2 right in my front door today. (I clean everyday so no way those pellets were old i would of seen them) my question to you guys is have u guys ever had a problem like this?

Dk what to do now lol i feel unsafe now about just leaving them there unchecked.

Avail yourself of the many game cams or surveillance cams and you'll find out soon enough who the prowler is. Many of these cams can be checked remotely even when you aren't home. When you discovere who the trespasser is, you will have evidence to confront them and shame them into changing their ways. If they don't, the evidence will support an arrest.

I agree. I have several cameras up on my property and have caught two legged and 4 legged thieves/predators on them. A thief did go to jail. Good luck...

Is your porch enclosed, or open? Are the chickens in a coop? If you can, lock them up until you can get a camera up. I agree that that's the best way to see who you're dealing with.

Definitely invest in game cameras or a "nest" type cam on the house facing out in the direction of these issues. Have one game camera on video and the other on photo if you go that route. If an individual is doing this to your flock, you will have not only evidence of trespassing but also proof of them attempting to harm your animals.
