Suspicious Barred Rock

Hi all! I got this Barred Rock from the pullet bin at the feed store - but I'm not sure it's a pullet. The color and wash on the feet say pullet, but the comb and wattles are suspicious. It's about 6-7 weeks old. Thoughts? (For some reason, the camera washed out the color on the comb and wattles. They are more red than the picture lets on.)

Looks like a pullet to me too.
Any way you can get side pics or from above to look for saddle feathers? 7 weeks may be a little early but I still say pullet due to the dark wash on the legs and the dark color. Males will be more gray overall.

There are no saddle feathers at all yet. S/he started making some suspicious sounds this morning, but everything else points to pullet. I'm confused.
