Swedish Flower Hen Thread

@Bukrub66
Good luck! If you have a good hatch rate, you should get a great assortment of colors with that many. What are you keeping your humidity on? We lowered ours to hover just under 40% last hatch and had over an 80% hatch.

Super excited. Picked up 20 eggs from TxFlower today.
Good luck with your hatch!

Update on my latest hatch of 4, now 10 weeks (starting to get the hatching-itch again, though):
The one I was certain was a girl:

Of course is a boy:

Already trying to make his first attempts at crowing. But the other three, who I was thinking were boys are all girls!

I am just starting out with SFH's. All of these birds hatched on/around Thanksgiving 2014. The one cockerel and 3 pullets were hatched near Chicago, but the eggs were from Blue House Farm in NC. The other seven, two cockerels and five hens, came from a friend in Wisconsin. They are from Greenfire Farms stock. They are such sweet birds! I live near St. Louis, Missouri. Anyone else close by that has SFH's? I'm looking for a 3rd line for my breeding program!
