Swedish Flower Hen Thread

I'm hatching Swedish Flower Hens from 2 different farms right now. I'm so excited to see what they will look like! (Started a hatch-along for the 7 eggs that wouldn't fit in the main incubator)

Anyone have recent photos of your SFH to post? I would love to see them.

I have/had 2 incubators set up for the Swedish Flower Hen eggs. #2 incubator pictured up above is due within the next 72 hours. Here is a picture of the first chick to hatch from incubator #1. The chick is less than 24 hours old in the picture.

Both incubators are the Maticoopx 20

Hello I got 10 SFH chicks from Two Moon Acres about a week ago. They are currently 3 weeks old. I am ridiculously excited as I have wanted this breed for quite sometime.

Here is a new picture of Billie Tulio, the first to hatch which is pictured here. Billie already had the little lighter tips of the feathers that the Swedish Flower Hens are known for. And he/she has a cute little crest of feathers! It's amazing how fast they grow.

They are lovely! It's fascinating how many variations they come in.

Thank you they are a varied breed, it makes it fun though. I find their personalities are quite unique, they are far more inquisitive and bold than other breeds I have had. Do you find that to be true?
