I have 5 SFH that just hatched out yesterday. Arn't they cute?

Can you feather sex SFH? If so I think all 3 of mine are hens

I feather sexed 18 chicks and was correct at 1 roo and 17 hens

great! except for if something happened to the roo but, thanks to contrastphoto I have 2 very nice full grown roosters straight from Greenfire.

Wow! That is great luck. I was hoping for one rooster, but now I will have to find one some where or buy more eggs. But at least it was not 3 roosters

Wow, what are the odds?? Doesn't the sex of the chick come from the hen?? That hen needs to have her own special little place to lay her eggs, haha

They are only a day old so i think they still too young to feather sex yet. They hatched overnight Sat. I woke up sunday morning to these cuties!
