I think someone was asking about progressive pictures. I have more in the Default Album on my profile page. For the older ones, you'll have to switch to the SFH Album.

Thank you!

Now I want to see your current babies that you said look identical to the Black Orps...

how big do they get in lbs. and is it possible to get them in canada.
Thanks
I googled that mountain region and knew you meant Canada. You have to contact the seller. One person has claimed roos get to 8.5 lbs although I find that somewhat optomistic; but I have yet to see.

I don't know live weigh, but had a 7 month old roo dress out to about 3 1/2 # last week. Wasn't fed as a meat bird just an extra.
That puts their live weight at 4.66 lbs or leghorn size. Are they really that small?

I contacted GFF: They said 6-7 lbs is average so 6.5 lbs. or almost 5 lbs dressed.

It was only 6 or 7 months, and not my largest. I only have a few at the moment and have little experience with them. I didn't butcher it, so I am going by what the person I gave it to reported.
FWIW, he said it was very good.
I processed two last week. One at 5+ months and the other at 8+ months. Both healthy and vigorous and looked to be good/normal sized. One weighed 3.5 lbs and the other 3 lbs fully dressed. They were very, very tasty, just little breast meat. Better in soup than as a roast, imo.
