I am on day 14 for 12 SFH eggs.
So excited after reading all the comments and seeing all the beautiful pictures!

My hen went broody a few weeks ago, so I left her sit. Three so far out of 6. Thats 14 of hers hatched this year, plus 5 from shipped eggs, so I now have a flock! Of course, I'll have to weed out some roosters, bit I finally have enough to say I have as flick of Swedish Flower Hens.
I am not breeding by color, not breeding by anything except no crested over crested. I want then to be as true as possible to their native style.

I'm excited to hear that! Can't wait till I get that point :D

Turner unplugged... Humidity up... Let the lockdown begin!

Keeping everything crossed for a great hatch!!!!!

And a shout-out to SunnySkies who I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday! I brought home two lovely roos! We happened to be up in her area, taking my son to visit with his grandparents. SunnySkies is AWESOME and has 4 great kiddos to boot. So happy to have the chance to meet up!

To all of you in the path of the storm, stay safe. We are getting rain. It's not bad yet, tomorrow we'll get heavy rain all day.

I bought a stronger flashlight, and candled my eggs again.

6 SFH... moving, look good. (1 had been removed, infertile) I'm excited!
1 RIR looks good, (2 removed...)
2 Columbian Wyandottes from my hens, a broody hen had been taking good care of them initially, but I kept running into assorted problems with her, and finally decided to bring them in. They are due to hatch a few days before the others.

Fantastic! I agree with you about the native style. I want really colorful birds, but also prefer the uncrested.

The storm is over here as well! Though the sky did get pretty ominus at one point but quickly passed lots of tornado watches today hopefull you north of us will only get a good rain with no damage, just a good rain like we had!
