GRATS! you're gonna have a great hatch, I just KNOW it! then again I've probably hatched more of her eggs than she has! LOL

Just a word of warning - we're not allowed to post about available eggs here. We have to put them in the Buy-Sell-Trade area. I didn't know this either and then I got banned last year for referring people to my blog - other reasons they cited were that I had mentioned egg availability here, and that I had my website addy in the water mark on my photos. Watch out! I'm a BAD influence! LOL!

well, it's official! I hatched my first purebred SFH today *from my own birds*!

That is great !!

I found a 2nd jumbo cream egg yesterday, not in the coop but the SFH flock has been free ranging, it looks just like the 1st one minus the blood so I'm assuming it is from Flo & BV has for certain covered her in the time frame so it went in the bator last night, a couple days later than the other small batch but I noted the set date and being so large if it hatches I'm sure the chick will blend ok w/ smaller chicks from a wk prior assuming the shipped eggs hatch something too. The calendar may say winter butSpring incubating season is in full swing here ;>
