You are a grandma!

6 babies, 1 eggs to go.
These are miracle babies.
First time momma stopped sitting on these eggs more times than I cared to count!
Was going to throw them away, figured they were no good.
The first mom broke one egg last week, and I saw a tiny chick.egg
Decide to move my first time broody cochin to a secure area.
Sunday was to be hatch day, lifted momma to pull her of the nest for some food & water.....and we had a chirping baby!!!!!!
She is sitting tight on # 7.
Hopefully pictures this afternoon

Congratulations to you both!

Some photos of the kiddos. They'll be 7 weeks in two more days. @KYTinpusher and all :D

Your pullets are beautiful!

Woo woo, my maran stayed on the eggs all day. It appears she has made the transition from coop to hutch. Whew!

Hooray!!!!

Hatched 30 lovely SFH chicks on Sun - Mon... (not all pictured) and all 4 of Snoleopard's eggs hatched into healthy chicks! Two of them look suspiciously leopardish, but it's hard to tell at this point! (Snoleopard babies have the blue dots... because apparently they follow the Indian caste system...
And of course I am now up to 3 broody SFH mammas! LOL!

I can't seem to get ANYONE to go broody this spring/summer.  Would have loved to put those new kiddos under a broody.
I've got 4 broodies and maybe 2 broody guineas! Wish I could send some your way, they're driving me nuts

Funny how they just seem to work on their own schedules!

Hee-hee-hee! Nice try!
I think all the chicks will be sold (with the exception of the snoleopards and 4 others I like the looks of). I can't complain!
