HELLO EVERYONE WE HAVE 2 OF OUR LAST HATCH OF 4 LEFT, they are super hyper.

My SFH are now 5.5 weeks old. Any thoughts on gender? I dont see any crests yet :(
Chick 1 has developed some curled toes, is it too late to put booties on?

Here's my trio of Swedish flower hens from a hatch last Feb (2012) from KYTinpusher. I have them in a breeding pen and I'm going to collect eggs daily. I have a little mixed breed banty hen who has gone very broody. We have our big brooder set up in our mudroom for her and I'm hoping she will successfully hatch a cluth of eggs for me.

I'll be running myself ragged going out to the breeding pen to check for eggs as it's very cold here today, but can't pass up the opportunity to make the most of that broody hen!

Beautiful birds! Wishing you a good hatch. A broody is a terrible thing to waste - LOL!

Question, I know there is no set "standard", however on greenfire it says there are red, black, grey and white, however a lot of birds i have been seeing lately look like more of a blue? Has that been just a natural variation breeding the black/grey/ white together?

Beautiful birds, but not from my birds.

Mine didn't start laying until March of last year. Good luck with your broody!
