Although the comb looks a little big, coloring and lack of wattles lead me to believe it is a hen.SFH girls like to set the pecking order.
Here are some better pictures.

Pullet or Roo its a nice looking chick but hopefully its a pullet.Walli your SFH are a different bloodline than Stephanie Lynn's correct?
Yes, they are.
I'm glad they arrived so fast!Just got a shipment of hatching eggs...one last ditch try on shipped eggs (worst luck every multiple past shipments multiple breeds, all boxed well, usps just has hated on my eggs)
But this time they got here the *fastest ever*!! No extra mystery day at my local sort center, so perhaps the egg hater is on vacation & these eggs will be 100% hatch!!
They are resting for 12 hrs now, will set at midnight along with a doz of my own (all mutts still sadly) , I've got 15 chicks hatched in the past week so the bator is working great. Fingers crossed....
Does anyone have a few SFH chicks available now or shortly that you are willing to ship? I've given up on hatching eggs (I live at altitude and that does a number on them). I'm only looking for 3-5 chicks...would like crested and non-crested.
