Have no idea what to breed her with : (
Looks like my white roo is getting burgandy on his wings.
if it's a dominant dilute gene, breeding her to another black based bird should result in some dilute chicks, if it's recessive (like Cream in the legbars) then all the chicks will be dark.

I would do a test breeding first, with a dark roo to see what you get, and if you don't get any more, send her south to leigh for added diversity in the flock. ;)

I'd breed her with a black-based mille fleur... but ironically I think your snoleopard chick came from Severus x Snoleopard

It is possible that Mace is the father, but much less likely. Interestingly, Mace was a result of a breeding between Gunnar x Ginger.

LOL! I would never ask you to do such a thing! (Karen might, but I wouldn't... )

Hello everyone I am finally caught up on the thread. Just love some of the birds I have seen while catching up. We sold a pol pullet yesterday that was beautiful but had gotten frostbite this winter and lost toe tips on one foot.

@KYTinpusher

Finally got some photos of the babies today. If I have my numbers right they were 2 wks old last Thursday.

Put them out in a little pen on the grass today...first time in the "great outdoors".

Could this little one be wanting to crow already

Hard to tell the blacks apart in the photos. I'll have to band one of them.

I think this is Black 1

And this is black 2

Little brown.

Everyone on high alert....first time seeing beyond their cardboard box boarders.

For perspective. Half of it is covered for shade.

O.K., I give up! (insert smiley bashing head into wall here) All I can get is the basic editor so quoting with pictures is a PITB!

Leahs Mom - Great pics! They look so happy and healthy. Looking forward to more pictures as they grow up.
