Who wants more baby SFH pics??
I see a lot of hands raised out there!
(No - not really. I can't see you unless you Skype me...)
OK - but let me ask everyone this...
Have you ever hatched out a Dark Chocolate SFH, and if so, what did it look like at maturity? I got this amazingly colored chick in my last hatch, and there is NO possibility of a cross or accident.
"Hey, Baby! How YOU doin'?"
Synchronized color comparison...
"Oh... Hai!"
Snöleopard babies. The one on the left looks promising for the gene!
m-hmm...looks red to me.maybe a mahogany based something? it's doubtful that it's chocolate (the gene) since that's a fairly recent development and wouldn't have been part of the sfh makeup back when, unless it's a spontaneous mutation, which can happen, but doubtful IMO.

I know what you mean. I have a chocolate chick (and a mauve) here myself. Not a SFH, but adorable and I can't wait until they grow up!You should see it in person. It's quite lovely to look at! And while I just want to "eat it up," I'm going to refrain as it's just too cute to dine upon. Thank you for your input!!
it really is a gorgeous and peculiar color, can't wait to see how it turns out!I just meant that it LOOKS like dark chocolate. It's gorgeous in the light. Yes - probably NOT the chocolate gene... just something that is lovely regardless.
