Thank you. I wish i could keep 3 roosters! I just don't think it will turn it well with a flock of only 11. Me and my husband are so attached to these two... sadness.

I'd wait to see how they turn out; there are a number of people on here with multiple cocks that don't fight, notably Shadrach. It can work with only a few hens each, or where one cock plays second to a dominant.

Hi all, this is my SFH Florence (aka Broke Toe Flo)...she has a deformed or broken toe which is why the breeder gave me a deal on her. I believe she hatched in April. No eggs yet.

Thanks! I am glad you mentioned that yours laid at 10 months. I was wondering what the usual time frame was for SFHs.

Will SFHs start laying in late winter in a mild climate? Flo will be 10 months on Feb 20 so would it be longer perhaps?
