Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm so worried about my eggs getting here in good shape, I've never had eggs shipped before. Last night I even started having bad dreams about my eggs arriving broken.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen a SFH chick with this type of coloring? I've seen lots of chicks and my little Bear looks different then all of them.

Aww.. too bad about Bear not being a Flower. What a story! He's still beautiful though.

I finally updated my chick's photos. They are now 4 weeks old. One had curled toes.

just got 6 swedish flower hen chicks from Contrastphoto, makes a total of 8 sfh and one sfh/orp mix I have now (plus my other egg layers)...
count me in to be more active in this thread (if I finally get to work a little less)

I got my first SFW egg yesterday.

Congrats! Its so exciting when they finally start laying! Mine started laying in July at 19 1/2 weeks. I just hatched my first chicks from their eggs. 7 of 7 on the first round with 21 more due on the 7th.
