Swedish Flower Hen Thread

I bought the hovabator genesis 1588 with turner 1611 (I think, I bought the turner that just has the rails for chicken/turkey eggs). I've read GREAT reviews on it. I'm not sure about the fan or not. Hatching is so addicting. I really needed to wait till after Christmas to start again, but Oh Well! I'll just have to have a bit of self control. At first I really wanted to Reptipro 6000, but it's a bit more expensive and doesn't hold as many eggs, so with being forced into getting one now, the genesis was a better deal. I think the genesis will be great, I have HIGH hopes!!

I have one, you will love it!

Have to say, I am so excited to get my eggs...your pictures here are making me anxious to have the chicken already! lol...oh I hope they do well. I am loving all of the different coloring!
They should be here tomorrow..hope the P.O. gets it right!

I just looked up the dickey bators, I love the new 2x2 they have. Oh, maybe one day I can upgrade to a large cabinet bator, but since right now, i don't have any roos that are old enough to fertilize (at least I don't think he's old enough yet), I'll have to wait. One day tho!

The black on in front is a barnyard mix. Something rare with something rare, lol.

But I love how this silver chick turned into a white bird. I'm hoping she stays white or gray, but we will see.

Couldn't catch anyone else for photos, but the others have way more red than this one.

Just for you then...here are some pics of a couple of the roos I didn't keep. I went for the non crested even thought the crested boys are GORGEOUS!! I did hatch out some of the young of the blue guy before re-homing him so I have some blue in my flock now.
