At my WalMart, castor oil is just under $3, but that is pretty cheap still. I bought some for my first aid box. For leg mites, it is supposed to stay on longer than other oils.

my DD is out getting some for me. I just came in from giving him an aspirin. tugged the wattles and down the hatch. way easy ! thanks for the tip eggsessive.

just an update. I have been rubbing the castor oil on just a couple times this week. its making an awful mess. lol baby aspirin 81 mg. once a day. Pain seems better under control . No change to the toes at this time. he lays around most the day walking/hopping to eat and mate. seems like its been forever but i see my post was just a week ago..

I stopped the aspirin and oil today. there is some blood at the site where dead skin meets healthy. His toes look like dried meal worms. Anyone know if this is normal for what he is going through?
