Thank you all for your kindness and your support. Only here could I have received so much understanding for my sadness and my tears. Better today, but her coop mates are looking for her, especially my 3 older girls who were all raised together. My original flock of 10 seven years ago was my very first introduction to chickens. Best thing ever !!!

so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose a dear pet. It never gets any easier. But you should feel better in knowing that you gave her a good long life that she was well taken care of and just think of all your happy memories together
