sweet feed ??????

i have been raising chickens for two year's and i have been feeding my flock "flock raiser and other poultry feeds ,but i waz wandering if i could give my chickens horse sweet feed ,it's a little cheaper than chickens feed..??????

Mine used to still the sweet feed from the horses. They always pecked around afterwards and cleaned up what the horses missed. But they still got their regular feed. I think they need it for the calcium so they can produce eggs.

I give mine sweet horse feed as a treat especially during the winter Its my turkeys favorite thing! but they also get layer crumble and mash and scratch feed too I wouldnt not give just that for them they need the other feeds too
