Sweet Female turkey needs a home as a PET

Hi all!
I'm the aunt of a boy who thought he could raise a turkey for slaughter and now wants to make sure it has a happy home as a pet - not a future dinner.

She had a companion who was taken away after a competition and my nephew is heartbroken.

They are in northern Ohio and not equipped for wintering a turkey. Also, she is very lonely now and not eating well as a result so we are eager to help her find a family and a friend soon.

Anyone interested in a turkey pet? She is a sweetie!

I used to go to a house auction in waverly IA and that was four hours from my door. I would totally make that trip for a new member to my awesome turkey family. How far is that from you?
