I've read good things on here about using sweet pdz in chicken coops. I plan to use it on the poop board. Can you use it alone or should it be mixed with sand?

Yes. The nest boxes are mounted under the poop tray and slide out for east access.
I love your coop I had photos of it saved on my last phone. People have been giving me grief for using drywall( was free and otherwise I needed over $200 worth of plywood to over the insulation) and for building my poop table lol. I am extremely happy with it so far and I think not too shabby for a 24 year old girl lol
You don't have to mix with sand...but I mix with sand just to make the PDZ stretch farther, sand is cheaper.I've read good things on here about using sweet pdz in chicken coops. I plan to use it on the poop board. Can you use it alone or should it be mixed with sand?
I've read you can scoop the poop out of the PDZ and put into a compost, is this true when mixed with sand? I paid $25 for 1 bag of pdz and realized I need probably about 4 to fill my poop table
Tractor supply has 25 lb. bags for $9.99. You should use 1/2" at the most.
