Swimsuit Question

To all my fellow fat gals out there. Carol Wior Slimsuits are the BEST!!!! I have a skirted one I bought 15 years ago, and the thing has never lost any of it elasticity. Not one bit. They have built in underwires, but not a bra, so it supports big and small, the tummy area is like a girdle, yet comfy. NICE suits!!!!

Holy cow! There's no way I would ever spend more than $100 on a swimsuit! It nearly gutted me to spend the $30 on it! They do look good, but daggum!!!

I have bought clothing from The Woman Within, and they have a couple of super cute, and strategically designed, suits that I plan to look into come end of season. Hopefully they will put them on clearance! Their clothes are sooooooooo comfy, and I am a bargain shopper, so I got mine cheap. Oh, and online there are WAY more deals than in the catalogs. We got $30 faux fur throws for $3.75 each. Bought 3. I want this cute little bathing suit they carry with a little bow in the middle. I'm not normally big on pink for myself, but it's so cute! But it's like $69 right now, and I will never pay that much for a suit!

That IS a good point Deb.

Same thing with KitchenAid stand mixers... they'll last for years... still haven't been able to justify the splurge though.

And I know I'd use that more than a nice suit.

Oh I totally agree. I'm like that with shoes too- I never ever buy cheap shoes. Or sheets.

I do like that suit though! I need something like that to keep the goods from popping out the top. God I hate it when that happens!

Speedo! That's what it was! I wish I could get back into those...I've got areas that simply aren't covered by those swimsuits now...


Edit: My swimsuit is in black, I can't seem to find the red in stores.

Very nice suit--btw, will you be offended if I say it reminds me of one my mom had when I was a toddler? Even the same colour, although I think hers had some white lines on it. Now I have to go see if I can find a photo...
