Switching from crumbles to pellets???

I use purina flock raiser crumbles with purina layena pellets 50/50 because I've got both layers and drakes. They waste practically nothing. I have it in a homemade 5 gallon bucket with 2 windows in it for them to eat. I can't imagine using anything else.

@quackiemama I believe just bought duck pellets. I feed pellets an it’s def less waste.

Sorry I just saw this, yes I recently switched mine to Purina Duck Pellets. I will only use crumbles when I have no other choice. It is way less waste and less dusty. My ducks prefer the pellets and so do I!

I switched to pellets and I love it. They aren't so nasty when they get wet. And if they spill on the ground its like the ducks can see it better and will eat it up. Makes their water less nasty too when they drink when they are eating!

I keep switching between crumbles and pellets. I’m lazy, and just grab whatever bag has a picture of a duck on it. Never really thought of the difference until I read this thread.

Yes I have used their water fowl pellets plenty and my guys love them. My Southern States near me just doesn't have it all of the time. I was told if you ordered the big bag from TSC you can choose to pick up at store. They will have it delivered. I have one TSC that carries the big bag and one that only carries the small bag of Purina duck pellets.
