Is the area soft and squishy? Can you see any yellow to white matter inside the beak or throat? It looks like she has been feather picked around her head and neck by the other chickens.

She isn’t usually picked on but our flock had mites a while ago so I think she’s just due for a molt. The bump isn’t hard; it feels like normal skin. There isn’t any yellow or white matter in her throat or mouth. Thanks for your response!
