Swollen Chicken?

Has anyone seen this before? New one for me!

Is she exhibiting any other symptoms? It could be a handful of things, but I think the most likely would be a mycoplasma infection.

How is she acting? Is there a bad odor from her head? Do you see any signs that she was stung by an insect or pecked? Is there sneezing, nasal drainage, gasping, or rattly breathing? A respiratory disease could cause facial swelling, and swollen ear or combs. I would be tempted to give 1/2 tablet of a 25 mg Benadryl tablet once to see if the swelling decreases. If a respiratory disease seems more likely, then an antibiotic such as tylosin, doxycycline might help. If there is a bad odor, bactrim or a pnother sulfa antibiotic might be better.
