Swollen eye and lid

As I said before, something like infectious bronchitis is mild, short-lived, and chickens only are carriers for 5 mo up to a year depending on which source your read. I would not cull birds for that. But I would not add new birds or hatch until the end of that year. MG is very common in backyard flocks and wild birds, ducks, turkeys, etc.

The PCR test is the best one to get for MG, MS and other types of mycoplasma. Here is a good link from Georgia about testing for the different types of mycoplasma that affect poultry:

I had my vet put her down. He did not like that both eyes were terribly swollen and her head and neck was red and hot. He said he would not put her with his flock ever. These things don’t go away they just become dormant. He kindly gave her a shot and she fell asleep. Hard day.
I wouldn’t ever have felt safe with him/her.

Oh, I'm so sorry... Sigh.

Just a little thing about antibiotics - apparently some of them are being 'interfered with'
by dairy (or calcium but I'm too lazy to check). So, we were told not to have dairy at the time of taking the antibiotic and just wait a few hours. But maybe it's only for doxycycline .

And, generally speaking about onions, I'm worried about misunderstandings. They should be offered in small quantities only, as a seasoning (like for people).

Again, very sorry about the poor unlucky chick.

It's all tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones for sure, they might be others too. Do not give with calcium, dairy, or hard water.

Tylan - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tylosin
Drug interactions
Tylosin may increase digitalis blood levels, thus its toxicity,[5] and may be antagonistic to chloramphenicol or lincosamides.

Colorimetric assays of serum ALT and AST may be falsely elevated by macrolide antibiotics.

Thanks. The only dairy she got was a little of my home made kefir to dampen her food once in a while. Thought the probiotics might help. Evidently not.
