Swollen eye & no other symptoms

Hello!

A few days ago I noticed my chicken, Barbeque, had a swollen eye. Barb is the lowest chicken in the pecking order, so I'm thinking this is just from one the bully hens. They've never injured her before this and it's not a health issue that I've ran into until now. She has no other symptoms indicating illness and I haven't noticed any discharge from the eye. Thoughts??

There are a few possible causes. A peck from another chicken is quite a common cause. A blocked tear duct is another.
Assuming she is otherwise healthy and showing no other symptoms I would start with whatever you can find where you are that is the equivelant of these.

In the US you should be able to buy Terramycin eye ointment without a prescription, at a feed store/tractor supply.

I have that in my Amazon cart. I'll definitely order some and see what I can find at the feed store. Her eye actually looks better today. I should have waited to post this I guess. Hahaha

I have a 15 week old black copper Moran that isn’t acting like herself. She has 1 eye that she can’t seem to keep open. She is sleeping all day. It has been very hot here and due to her sleeping I’m afraid she is t eating and drinking like she should. I can’t see any swelling around the eye. What do I do? The pics are of the bad eye open
