I have a young pullet who began acting off today (staying off to herself, laying down a lot). She has no other physical symptoms, other than a small amount of swelling above her right eye.
She's not displaying any respiratory symptoms, but should I go ahead and treat her with an antibiotic just in case, or is it possible that she could have been stung or something and that would cause her to act off?

Where did you get her? Have you added new birds in the past couple of weeks? A sting or a peck is possible. If she develops bubbles or gunk in the eye, it could be a respiratory sinus disease, and those infect for life. Antibiotics are difficult to obtain without a vet. Testing for a respiratory disease if suspected is the best way to know what you are dealing with, and if an antibiotic will help.

I got her a couple of months ago as a chick from a breeder. I have two others from the group and they have all been healthy. None of my other chickens appear to be ill, and I haven't added any new birds other than the group I got her with a few months ago.
I've separated her, and if she develops any respiratory symptoms I'll treat her and go from there. Thanks for the quick reply!

She is all better today so I believe that she was just stung! 😊
