Swollen Eyes

Yesterday, i saw this guy, his one eye was quite swollen and oozing clear liquid.

i cleaned him up and put some penecillan directly into the eye and gave him a shot
This morning it was less swollen and infection had come out. i cleaned him again and reapplied the penecillan to the eye.

i found 2 more young roos with the same problem today. everyone affected is quarantined.

Any one else have this going on? i hope is is a cold or something. In 10 years of chickens i have never seen this before.
All the birds affected free range.
what else can i do?

OK ... grab your camera, and start over, 'cause this picture ain't gonna work.

While you're photographing them? Look at the combs, and wattles, for any signs of discoloratins or eruptions. Also, check inside the mouths of those you can.
