I have a broad created turkey approx 14 weeks whose face is slightly swollen on one side. They free range so I am not sure if maybe he was stung or if he has something else going on. I haven’t seen him sneeze or cough and his eye doesn’t have any discharge. I am going to see what it looks like in the am but I am wondering if anyone knows is duramycin 72-300 can be given orally instead on injecting it? I can’t find any tylan in my area I would have to order it online. I am only going to give it to him if he’s still as swollen as he is now in the am. I will get a pic of him once everyone returns to the coop in about 45 minutes

Here are some pics

Do you see any bubbles in his eye? A sting might be possible, but MG can cause a swollen face and bubbles/foam in an eye. I would probably try giving the oxytetracycline orally if you prefer not to inject it.

I didn’t see a bubble but I wasn’t looking for one. I’ll have to look in the am. I would inject the meds but I’m unsure how to do it.
