yay miss prissy and portage girl. any guesses on what's up with my chickens? this is the first problem i've had rowan oh and thanks for your patience. i'm learning about chickens and copmuters at the same time

hi reinbeau. i googled images and the photos don't seem to match. i didn't see any scabs. also all 20 chickens have it on both feet - how probable would it be bumblefoot? they looked a little better today not nearly as red and less swollen. could it the cold?

Were they out free the day you noticed it? At the very least keep them in their pen, or if some irritant is suspected in the pen, then keep them indoors for a day or so, and watch them.... *waits for a really smart person to say something else*

Any changes in feed?
Changes in bedding?
New grit or plants?
Did they get scraps that may have had something odd in it?

what size lumber for their roost?
have they been wet?
how clean is coop and run?
