swollen feet on all chickens

1. no changes in feed, bedding or plants
2. their roosts are 2x4's - 4" side up (like i learned on byc)
3. it has rained and been cold in new jersey. their run is yucky muddy, but they're free to stay inside 8 x 12 ' coop or under it - it's not too bad there (if you're a chicken)
4. the coop is clean, i'm doing the deep litter method, so periodically i sprinkle clean pine shavings and de. i wouldn't go in there if it was dirty LOL
5. the cochin rooster and his girlfriend never roost. they always snuggle into the shavings. (very sweet)

I may be wrong but what I can see from the pic is that the feet look perfectly normal....but again I'm judging from that pic and maybe a few more shots of the legs and feet would give a better view.

My chickens have puffy pads and sometimes they can be red, prob. from water and mud holes. I really don't think that you have anything to worry about but time will tell I suppose.

I agree - I don't see anything wrong with the bottom of their feet. Chickens have thick, puffy pads on their feet and since it's "all" your chickens, I'm guessing that's what you are calling "swollen" and that there's nothing wrong with them.

If it was bumble foot there would be a black scab.

They look like regular chicken feet to me. If it is cold where you are they may be acclimating to colder ground and condition changes. Do they roost in any are large enough they can squat and cover their feet?

they do look a little swollen to me....and she DID say that they are more swollen than normal and im sure she knows what "normal" is for her chickens. what i would do is start changing things one thing at a time for several days to see if anything improves and i agree that your best start would be to keep them up for a few days. im sure that you've stated this several times already, but is there absolutely NOTHING that you changed? other than the weather? and im pretty sure that YOU did not do that lol
