1. no changes in feed, bedding or plants
2. their roosts are 2x4's - 4" side up (like i learned on byc)
3. it has rained and been cold in new jersey. their run is yucky muddy, but they're free to stay inside 8 x 12 ' coop or under it - it's not too bad there (if you're a chicken)
4. the coop is clean, i'm doing the deep litter method, so periodically i sprinkle clean pine shavings and de. i wouldn't go in there if it was dirty LOL
5. the cochin rooster and his girlfriend never roost. they always snuggle into the shavings. (very sweet)
