My 24 week old dekalb amberlink was in the nesting box at bedtime. At first I was excited thinking she was laying her first egg, but when I went back to check she was limping trying to move around. Her foot was puffy, but no lesions or scabs at all. She was completely fine at treat time just a couple of hours ago. Could she have broken her foot? Would an injured foot cause swelling in a chicken?

Could you post a picture of her foot tomorrow? She very well could have injured her foot. Is the joint swollen? If so, look at her leg joints as well for swelling. It might help to keep her in view of the others, but force her to rest her foot in a dog crate with her own food and water. Injuries or broken bones can take several weeks to heal.

I could get a pic until I got home from work. She was out and about. She was slow but not much of a limp. Looked like less swelling, but it almost like a blister had popped between the toes. You can see the skin peeling off a little. I sprayed some antiseptic on it. I wonder if she was bit by something.
