Swollen, pale comb

I have a 5 month old black australorp with a pale, swollen comb. My BA girls are shy and don’t interact with me much, so I’m not sure when this started. I noticed a few days ago and have watched for changes. It does seem slightly more swollen today than when I first noticed. I’ve seen her eat and drink, and she moves about with the flock in a normal manner. Several pics below, some including my other BAs for comparison. All are same age. Thoughts?

Since she's not easy to handle, I would wait until dark then go out and get her from the roost.
Inspect her comb to see if there's an injury that may be causing the swelling.

Yes, and do you have a roo in that flock?
I do have a rooster in the flock and he is ROUGH! I see him grabbing combs and pulling feathers—keeping two “overused” girls separated from him to give them a break. This girl with the swollen comb tho—she’s not laying yet and I haven’t seen him show interest in her. I have one BA that’s laying and he’s still even barely interested in her—harasses my Barred Rocks and silkie mix girls constantly tho!

He probably did it, when he got on their back to breed, he looked for something to hold on to, so he grabbed to comb, we had a chicken that went through that too.

How old is the rooster?
How much space do you have in your coop/run?

Were you able to grab your pullet and take a look at her comb?

Good morning, thanks for checking. My rooster is 5 months, same age as 14 of the girls. I have a 60 sf run, but the chickens spend most of their days out in the yard (over an acre) so space ought not be an issue.
I’ve attached a pic with marks to show the area that looks to have some injury. I will apply Silver Honey several times over the next few days since that’s what I have. I welcome suggested better treatments if you have them.

That's interesting, I'm not sure if I've ever seen that even in photos.
Looks like she's missing a couple of points on the comb too. I would speculate with a cockerel grabbing at her, the comb suffered injury - does it feel fluid filled or hard?
I would try the Silver Honey if that's what you have.

You don't notice any swelling of her earlobes or wattles do you?

It's good they can roam, if confined then the space would be really tight for that many birds.
Cockerels can be a pain, once they hit about a year old and become a rooster, they start calming down a little.

The comb feels hard, but not warm or anything. No swelling of the waddles or ear lobes.
