Swollen red and WHITE comb!!!

Hopefully someone can help me out here!

I have a two year old chicken who has always had a very large comb. It stays flopped to the side for the most part. I noticed her comb swollen some a couple weeks ago and just kept an eye on it. There was no change. But today she is standing next to her water and her head keeps dropping down like she’s falling asleep. I inspected her and the side of the comb that is bent over appears white, the comb tips after that are slightly bluish. And she closes that eye on that side. She can open it but she closes it shortly after again even with her other eye open. I do notice a small scab pictured on the swollen side but again that has been there for a few weeks since I noticed the swelling. Also, it almost appears the one side of her face is more pale than the other

Of note too I do live in North Carolina and it is HOT !! Please help my girl !!

If your bird has mites that might be the problem.If not it could be a circulatory issue or a heat problem.

But would that make only that part of her comb like that versus the whole thing?
