We're talking about what to do with the turkey carcass after Thanksgiving...not quite the same thing, lol.

Good luck finding what you're looking for.

Thanks, its OK. Wasn't prepared to freeze or can it anyway. All I had on hand was freezer bags…can you imagine trying that?

Sure. It helps to have two people. Open the bag and set it upright in a bowl. Get one person to hold the bag open while another pours the liquid in. If you have a funnel it makes it even easier.

The next time you goof on the stock, the hens will drink that too.
Never would have thought about that, thanks for the tip.

Thanks, will try that next time
Always talk to me first. I'm a professional, and can recommend things when trying them at home.

. Should have studied on this before making the dive. LOL. Anyway, the stock is down the drain, but rescued meat and have it in fridge for the gals tomorrow - minus those bare bones. Will do better next try.
That's ok just chalk it up to a learning experience. You know great artists and chef's never get it right the first time. Please read my signature (especially the last sentence "when at first you...."), I live by that. I've made some pretty exciting discovery's from so called failures (remember Bob Ross and his "happy accidents"?).

So... I want to hear how your next try goes. Remember you can do this with any type of bones. I intend to bake a whole ham for Christmas and will use the bone to make a stock. I will use that stock for the base of a potato soup and/or a ham and bean soup.

Wish you lots of luck on your next go round .

Some of my best outcomes have started with a big oops. Never count a dish out just because you are missing an ingredient or don't like something in a recipe. I change everything, at least a little.
