Tablets down a duck?!

The vet has given me liquid form of Baytril..

I have nearly ran out and I have a hard time getting it down Hattie.. Half of it goes on me!

Is it easier getting tablets down a duck??

Was thinking ordering the 50mg tablet or is that a high dose? She has an infected foot!

You might try putting it on some bread if liquid. and I have also used bread for giving tablets too I take a small piece of bread put the tab inside them smash the bread around it, I always give a couple small pieces of bread to get them excited about it first then give the piece with the tablet in it. You could try smashing some peas and mixing the liquid into that. for dosage I'd contact casportpony via Pm and ask her dosage she is really good with it.

I am hoping a few more days of antibiotics will clear the Bumblefoot but it's not looking too good!!

Doesn't seem to be improving much though.

Have you used the clear iodine method? Where you dab a couple drops of clear iodine (not brown) on the bumble and after several days, soak and remove the plug?
