Tag Team Hens!

Well, I thought it was bad enough that my Saipan hen went broody on me, and the others quit laying because of it, but now I have 2 hens on the same nest! In all my years, I have never had this happen before...

I have dualing broodies, too! They are fighting over every egg that drops out of all the other hens.

Actually, there are three broodies but two in particular want the same nest.

Cool pic tat2, I guess it is a normal thing, but I just have never had it happen before. Strange too, because I have had chickens for a few years, you would have thought I would have seen it before....

You're lucky. My hens won't brood at all. However, its still early in the season, but I thought my Silkie female would for sure.
