Taking eggs out of the tuner tomorrow. Day 20 update

Hygrometers drive me crazy.
I put a baby food jar of water in my bator during incubation. Then I add another baby food jar of water at hatch time. I don't measure humidity at all. Seems to work very well.
May differ if you live in a dry part of the country.

I did I gave it about 30 min or so. Sorry, normally I'm not this anxious over the bator, I'm just sitting here at work, with nothing else to do but mess with it and wait.

I went ahead and cracked open the plastic windows and that got it down to 70. I think I might call it quits and just leave it for the weekend. As you can see from above anxious post, sitting around here doing nothing isn't helping much.

Day 20- Well, things arenot looking good. Got into work this morning, not a sound, not one little wiggle, nothing. Humidity not too bad, right at 50, so added some more water through my tube.
Temp low, real, realy low, like 97. I've got blanket higged around the thing already. I', trying putting a book on top of the pane over bator, b/c I've heard that works to raise the tmp. I'm giving it an hour, then taking the book off and moving the knob.
Also, I thihnk there's a rotten one in there, or at least something smells.

I'm pretty dissapointed, but not really surprised. I was hoping for more though. *Sigh*

Since your temps were low they might just take a little bit longer. Go ahead and give a few more days, remember it's only day 20. Members with low temps sometimes get chicks day 22-25
