Hellllo!

many little fluffy butts have tapeworm. I can’t get anything at the local store and my vet is saying she can’t get Zimerictin but can get valbazen But that it’s very expensive. Any recommendations?? Thanks!!

Are you sure their tapeworms? Do you have some pictures of what you've found so far? Did they look like this?

Valbazen might work, but Praziquantel is most effective for treating tapeworms in poultry, and you find that in a horse paste wormer form - here. It can be ordered online.

No photos but 100% sure it’s tape. The pieces were moving. I just had round worm this spring so I know it’s not that.

If you have a dog or cat vet they should be able to sell you some praziquantel or Droncit/Drontel. We could then help with fiquring dosage.

Ok I FINALLY got Eqvalan gold it’s a 7.75gm tube.
How much am I giving??
