Taste Test: eggs from different fowl, participation encouraged

The quick and easy is buy a frozen pie crust (you could make crust from scratch). Whisk together a cup and a half of heavy cream with 4-6 eggs (depends how big your eggs are, I did 2 chicken, 2 duck eggs), pour into the pie crust, add in about a cup of shredded cheese (any variety) add in any meat or veggies you'd like or whatever is in your fridge, bake at 350 for about 40 minutes (top will start to fluff up and brown, make sure you put the pie pan on a cookie sheet because it tends to overflow a little).

I have not made quiche in years, but I now have an abundance of fresh eggs! It keeps well in the fridge for like a week and you could just cut a slice off and heat it up as you want.
Perfect.
I have a a pie crust on hand!
Am making one today!
WOOT!
Thank you.

Don't pay attention to the edges. The mini insisted on helping. Does it look done or should I leave it in a liilte longer. Right now...

One of my favorite recipes growing up was Quiche Lorraine. I think we're planning on a couple different Quiche, some frittatas, and egg foo young over the next week or so. I need to find people to buy some eggs.

Agreed! That's pretty much what I did, except I used fake bacon (to make it vegetarian) and I swapped out the swiss for whatever cheese I already had in the fridge. Soooo good! I want to make mini frittatas or souffles in cupcake tins too. Going to look for a recipe now.

@KikisGirls how was your quiche?
The best I ever had! :woot
I put ham, gouda cheese and mushrooms and onions.
5 eggs and I didn't measure the cream..just poured some in.

I should have added some bell pepper but didn't think todo so at the time.

I think I found a new simple thing to make!

I love it...Thank you!
