Still working with the Tatanka line here. As I've said before my hats off to those who got me started with the Tatanka line. First small hatch for the year 11/16/14 yielded (7), second batch hatched yesterday 11/26/14 yielded (24), third batch set to hatch on 12/6/14. Collecting for next setting now. All eggs set were 14g or better, bout time to dust off the scale & camera & post some photos of their weights as they grow to insure they meet the Tatanka standards.

Those eggs are beautiful! Is that typical of your flock, or do you just have a particular bird or two that lay them like that? Also, how old are these birds? I'm glad you're back posting about your breeding program again. This was the thread that first really interested me in raising quail. Now I finally have my hens laying, so I'm getting a scale for Christmas.
