We're glad to have you. I agree with the above posters, getting more hens may solve your problem. Some roosters can be quite rough on their hens.

Glad you joined us! Tattered feathers on the backs of hens are common in flocks where the rooster:hen ratio is unbalanced. 1 rooster per 10 hens is the recommended amount, though fewer hens can be kept in temporary situations or if the rooster(s) isn't that hard on them. You could get hen saddles/aprons to put on all your hens, or get more hens/less roosters.
 
yep you are so right. They are the most tattered
 
Not really. If you are having feather wearing on your hens it's a flock management problem and is not a normal situation with roosters. It can be rectified by managing flock numbers, breed selection or quality of stock.
