Y'all, I'm going to have to stop reading this one. My BP is up and I cannot pay for the medicine for it.
I just got notice that because of lack of Federal Revenues all our State Agricultural annual licenses are going up! And there is no such thing in GA as a single small farm license.......so we're talking multiple licenses for us.
So as just one example of our many license, in order to sell pet milk alone, we go from $50 to $75 just for selling and the registration (annual) goes from $25 to $40 with anticipated future rate increases. That is a huge percentage increase. I haven't looked through all the other increases. Anyone want a lovely farm with many animals that eat a lot of feed? But then they could potentially provide you with something to eat, but please please please just sell those dairy goats if you don't like milk, cheese, yogurt, kefir, cream cheese, whipped cream, buttermilk, ice cream, butter.....uh oh, I'm remembering why I like farming.... Don't hurt them. The farm may seriously be available soon either with our without animals.
Our neighboring state no longer provides school books for the kids. It's required that the parents buy them! Our county laid off soo many teachers and teachers aides. There's talk of charging parents for bus transportation to school.
I'm so glad we are mainly self reliant...I have goofy looking hair but I cut my own. I wonder if I will have to pay a service tax for that!
It's really hard.... isn't it! A local"tax tea party" was held in a very small rural town near us and more people showed up (drove in from neighboring counties, etc) than were residents of the town. Folks are so tired of this.....I know I am. Now I've said it. But what is due Caesar .....is it all of this??????? I don't think the original Caesar taxed the sales of milk.......so tough... sigh...
