Tax, Tax And Tax

Okay Biblically (for our family) we are to give unto Caesar what is due Caesar......Now I think there's a sermon out there for those who are preachers, ministers, theologians on what is in fact due Caesar....Although in my limited knowledge,I think that this verse speaks to much more than just taxation issues ......

Just played around with some searches and bumped into wiki pedia under "Render unto Caesar" Actually so glad that this thought just came to my head

Will ask my pastor to do up a sermon on this???? Hope it will happen..... I'll be certainly listening for it.

Peace and be blessed and happy. Nancy

It will not stop there either. Another trend is to place new taxes on things and call them "fees". This way the current adminitstration can say we didnt raise taxes...

don't forget about the upcoming "Chicken Fart Tax" that will likely be pushed into the Clean Air policy. Talk about fees!!!

I just want to add that I love being taxed, don't mind it coming from my income, tax me cus I love it. I have no want, no need for a house or food. My kids don't mind starving, they can eat the dog. I think personally we get taxed and taxed so much more each year. This is the first year I have though of getting a job as my DH's income just doesn't pay the bills anymore.

I am curious about your method of preparing your dog for eating. Do you slow cook them or fry them? Is there any usable meat on the tails?

I heard when they started up Social Security taxpayers were promised it was going to be strictly voluntary and no more than 1% of your income, etc, etc.

That didn't work out quite the way they promised.

I would slow roast the and then use the bones for bone soup,my cats in my neighborhood would also go missing;)

Y'all, I'm going to have to stop reading this one. My BP is up and I cannot pay for the medicine for it.

I just got notice that because of lack of Federal Revenues all our State Agricultural annual licenses are going up! And there is no such thing in GA as a single small farm license.......so we're talking multiple licenses for us.

So as just one example of our many license, in order to sell pet milk alone, we go from $50 to $75 just for selling and the registration (annual) goes from $25 to $40 with anticipated future rate increases. That is a huge percentage increase. I haven't looked through all the other increases. Anyone want a lovely farm with many animals that eat a lot of feed? But then they could potentially provide you with something to eat, but please please please just sell those dairy goats if you don't like milk, cheese, yogurt, kefir, cream cheese, whipped cream, buttermilk, ice cream, butter.....uh oh, I'm remembering why I like farming.... Don't hurt them. The farm may seriously be available soon either with our without animals.

Our neighboring state no longer provides school books for the kids. It's required that the parents buy them! Our county laid off soo many teachers and teachers aides. There's talk of charging parents for bus transportation to school.

I'm so glad we are mainly self reliant...I have goofy looking hair but I cut my own. I wonder if I will have to pay a service tax for that!

It's really hard.... isn't it! A local"tax tea party" was held in a very small rural town near us and more people showed up (drove in from neighboring counties, etc) than were residents of the town. Folks are so tired of this.....I know I am. Now I've said it. But what is due Caesar .....is it all of this??????? I don't think the original Caesar taxed the sales of milk.......so tough... sigh...

I really do get peeved when I buy anything used. I enjoy getting deals but why should I pay tax on a already taxed item? what's more bothersome is that lower income people ten to shop in used stores! If there ever came a time were small gardens were taxed I think civil unrest would occur, I really think there should be unrest right now. We are so controled like a puppet that many people don't see it!
