Are you talking about "The Picture" with Sheryl Crow? It's not exactly for a 13 year old to listen to but it's a great song.


Oh, Kelli Pickler is adorable but not in the same league as Taylor, who, in my opinion, may be up there with Faith and Leanne if she continues like she is.

My daughters listen to heavy metal, Japanese rock,(yeah, that just seems odd to me to) regular rock ,some classical music and country. Thus far, they have not taken an interest in some of the younger female stars like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. If either my sons or daughters don't listen to it, then I don't hear it. So, I must be one of the few people on the planet who doesn't even know what this young lady sounds like. And no, don't give me a link.

Does she sing enpowering female music? My daughters like Pink because of some of her songs like, Stupid Girls. They also liked the country song where the woman destroys the man's car. Who is that singer? And yeah, I explained that was an immature way to handle a break up. LOL

Taylor Swift writes her own songs ... her maturity is spot on as being a role model, and she understands her position as being a role model and takes it seriously.

We went to see Sugarland in concert and Kellie was one of their opening acts and she is a total crack up. I never watch American Idol so I missed her on that but she was seriously funny at that concert. My 4 year old LUBS Taylor Swift so we get to hear her music whether we like it or not LOL!! But I think anybody that can write and perform as many #1's as she has must have some talent whether I like her or not.
