Tea tree oil safety?

Ok. I am super confused. I have always been under the impression that tea tree oil could be toxic to chickens. Then I stumbled across this.

What are your thoughts? Anyone have experience to share? I've sprayed my coop with it highly diluted without issue but I'm interested to know the thoughts of others.

Based on this research I would say it's safe at the levels published.
And you have anecdotal data that agrees. If you want to continue using it, it seems safe enough.
