Ok the cell phone trick was not funny at all. Not even a bit funny. Teachers these days having to deal with crap like that is why they have bad attitudes!!!! KNOCK IT OFF! Do your school work, respect your elders! Stop making excuses for your behavior. Be responsible for what do and own the consequences.

I don't hate her, I just dislike her attitude towards teens and kids. I've always had weird teachers... In 5th grade I had this teacher.. Oh boy. Mr. Kerr, kept me in at lunch running around the blacktop and playground just because I wasn't getting the time that the fast kids were getting. I was a 10 year old girl who didn't like running when my sides starting hurting. I like running for tag though. I still play tag to this day! Anyways my parents wanted me eating lunch at lunchtime, as did I, because after I was done running I only had 10 minutes to eat. >:| Sheesh. And I was tired, like I really wanna eat when I'm exhausted. Yeah. -sarcasm- My parents told him off at school. After that I got my lunches back.
"Now you listen here, Kerr, I want my daughter here right now!"
"Excuse me but my name is MR. Kerr!"
"No, Mr. is not a name, it is a title for a man as a sign of respect. And I have no respect for you!"
I remember all the kids thinking Mr. Kerr was a weirdo.

I thought it was only my friend and I who talked about it but everyone in our class did. He had Victoria's Secret shopping bags in his room and we would joke about him buying lingerie for himself.. Haha. We would stay away from his closets in the room because we thought they were traps to his "rooms". Yeah we thought he was a pedophile too. We would joke about the kids that had to stay in his class during recess.. And his wife actually being a man.. And can't forget about the Kerr-people. Paris Hilton was touched by Kerr and that's why she's so bleh. And Kerr-dogs.. Kerr-cats.. Funny times those were, funny times.

I'm not going to say there are no bad teachers...because there are...but for every actual bad teacher there are 100 who aren't and are just accused of being so. Regardless, it doesn't matter. You are stuck in that class. Make the best of it, don't try to make it worse on yourself.

I didn't even know what a pedophile was in 5th grade, Nor even think any of my teachers were won. Just so you know I would probably give a student detention if they crack up in class. I would never give a student detention for cell phones or stop my time to take one up because that is counter productive. Unless every single time someone got a text it made a noise or vibration.

Yes there are bad teachers, just like there are bad employees in every other work of life. Doing what this kid was just antogonizing the teacher. That is just wrong. Not funny, cute or amusing at all. The kid landed in detention for a reason. Then he/she pulls that one? hehehe. More detention.

I'm pretty sure that's what I said. At least, what I meant.

Every kid has a teacher they hate. Most of the time though, when you grow up a little, you realize they were probably THE BEST TEACHER you had.

Your comment to the Mr. Kerr was rude. Sorry, but it was. No matter what people think of him, or if you agree, he is your TEACHER and that title alone demands your respect. I get you are irritated with detention. So change your behavior. And you and your friends can snicker behind their backs because we all have done that about our teachers. But getting in his face and TELLING him you have no respect? NOT ACCEPTABLE.
