When I get caught up in a good book, I'm not seeing the words on the page. I'm seeing and hearing the story.I wish I could read that fastit takes me hours to barely even get into the book
I love thatWhen I get caught up in a good book, I'm not seeing the words on the page. I'm seeing and hearing the story.

That's me on audiobooks. When I get caught up in a good book, I'm not seeing the words on the page. I'm seeing and hearing the story.
Thanks! And don't start with heavy stuff. No papa Tolkien., No Asimov or Heinlein, etc. Pick something light and fast-paced. David Eddings' Belgariad is a good one. Weis and Hickman's Drangonlance chronicles read pretty fast. Anything Piers Anthony. I'm leaning more fantasty than sf, bucause they tend to be faster reads.
I love Ghostbusters! And MIB.Late to the thread, but gotta toss out a few that noone mentioned...
-Ghostbusters! (Actually made DS a preschool size proton pack for Halloween this year)
-Avatar
And anyone else remember Event Horizon? That movie seriously bothered me as a kid.
